Youth Ministries
Football, hiking, sports days, and adventure sports are just the beginning. Winter or summer, you will find our young men having a great time at seasonal activities that encourage character-building and most importantly, emphasize the message of the gospel.
Weekly Activities
We begin with a time of prayer and then it’s GAME TIME! Seasonal games that everyone can get involved in are great fun and give each young person the opportunity to have a great time in a safe and encouraging environment. Football, of course, is a favorite, but other sports as well play a big part of what we do every Saturday. From dodge-ball, American football, softball and field games, we have a great time! After everyone has played hard, we have refreshments, then we settle down to a few brain teaser games and see which team is most clever.
A character lesson is always fun and practical too. How to handle money, how to behave at a job interview, how to treat an adult, and other characteristics every "man" ought to have. These lessons are taught by men who care about the future of each teen who attends.
After the character lesson, we have a Bible study that puts the truth of God’s Word into the everyday situations that young men face and gives them guidance for everyday decisions.
Special Activities
Each quarter of the year, we have special activities that allow those who faithfully attend the youth rally to go on special sport days or outings together. Hiking, scavenger hunts, laser tag and adventure sports like kayaking and rope courses are great fun and allow everyone to do something out of the ordinary and fun. These activities are well supervised and special care is given to health and safety measures. The cost for these activities is always kept at a modest fee that would allow anyone to taking part.
