Visitation Ministries
Each Saturday at 10:00 am, we meet together at the chapel and have a cup of tea or coffee, some biscuits or cake and a friendly time of fellowship before we go out to tell others about the gospel. An encouraging devotional is given and then we pray together that God will bless each visit.
In an organized way, maps, lists of people who would like to have a visit, and Christian literature are supplied to every team and we go out with a friend to visit people and tell them the good news about Christ.
What an encouraging thing it is to see people whose lives have been changed, and to go out and tell others about what God can do. A good number of people have visited our church services as a result of God’s blessing on the faithful workers who go out week after week to let people know about our church that is being established in their community. Many of the people who have come to know Christ and are are now members of our church.
People of all ages and personalities join us and enjoy the time they spend visiting. We always try to pair up someone who is new at visiting with a “veteran” who is able to do the talking. If you think you are not able to speak to others, come anyway, we have Christian literature that you can pop through mail slots and really make a difference in letting others know about the gospel in that way.
