Cherith at Home Visitation

Beeches Road Baptist Chapel and other chapels in our area are involved in a visitation ministry to the elderly and shut-ins. Some of these visits are to encourage the elderly saints in the Lord and others are to reach those that do not know the Lord. We are also able to go to many residential homes and speak openly to the residents there about the Lord.
We have been able to take some of the girls from the Sunday School to visit the residents in the home which is encouraging to both the residents and the girls! Over Christmas, a group from the church went to a home to sing Christmas carols and give Gospel presentations. We were warmly received and invited to come again.
There are many elderly people in the area that have a church background but do not know the Lord as their Saviour. Please pray that God will open their understanding that they may know the truth from God’s Word and that salvation is only through faith in Jesus Christ.
